Goals

Hey Paper Penguin Followers,

This is a note to share my goals and hopes for this new venture with Stampin' Up!

I love paper crafting and I feel that I have been blessed with the gift of crafting.
My top goal is to make Paper Penguin my full time job and business. I really want to do this since I am VERY passionate about this craft, but also want to use what I love to provide a little bit of an income for my family. If you could just help me gain more supporters by sharing my posts or my blogs with friends that would be amazing. I love that I have some amazing people supporting me already. I just want to share with you my passion and help you to see what you can do with this craft.

I am hoping to gain a few more committed customers. I want to do classes, clubs, and monthly events. In order for me to do this I need a few more to sign up for these events. I hope that you can help me by signing up for something that you might enjoy or a friend you might have that would enjoy paper crafting.

I want to create FOR you too! If you could use me to make your special occasion cards, that would also help me to grow. I can do just about any occasion or theme. I can also make kits for you to make the cards yourself or for your group. I can provide all the materials for you to make cards, scrapbook layouts, or any other paper crafting. Just tell me the number in your group and what you are looking to make. We will work out all the details. If you have a ladies' group at church or a group of friends that want an evening to craft, then let me know I can help you plan, set up, and create.

I see myself as a paper coach. I want to help others see the amazing world of stamping and paper crafting. It's a craft that can touch lives in so many ways.

Thank you so much for being here for me already. Thank you for trusting me and letting me share my passions with you. I hope we can grow some more, even it's with just one more person. I love stamping, card making, scrapbooking, and learning.

Interactive Christmas Card

It's almost that time of year to start getting Christmas cards made and in the mail. I love making a card people will remember. I usually try to keep it simple since I usually have to make 15 cards. Every once in a while I get a wild hair and have to make a doozie just to send out to a certain person that really appreciates the effort I put into it. I decided I wanted to make at least one interactive Christmas card that can hold a gift card. Hold on to Hope Card

I designed the Hold on to Hope card to show a fun technique using the positive and negative cut outs of dies. This is an inlaid technique and it's simple to do and results in a very impressive look. The stamp set I used was Stampin' Up! Hold on to Hope. It's a new set that will be available in January for purchase. This set has a coordinating die set called Cross of Hope Framelits. The materials: White thick cardstock -cut at 3 1/4' x 4 1/4", a scrap piece of white cardstock to glue on die cut, and a 1/2" strip Black cardstock -cut at 3 1/2" x 4 1/2", a piece cut at 3"x 3" for die cutting, and a 3/4" strip  Emerald Envy cardstock cut at 4 1/4" x 11", Then folded at 5 1/2" to make the card base Yellow cardstock cut at 3"x 3" for die cutting Stampin' Up! stamp set Hold on to Hope Stampin' Up! die set Big Shot die cutter Emerald Envy ink pad Memento Black Tuxedo ink pad Versa Ma...

Kit Snob!!

I've really gotten into one of the all inclusive kits that is featured in the Annual Catalog . This box is amazing for all that comes in it. Have you considered getting one of these kits?  I didn't.  Nope. I have been stamping, doing scrapbook pages, and cards since high school, so I thought I didn't need to get  cards or pre-punched designs. I mean, come on, I could make that with all the paper, stamps and dies that I already have. I was being a total kit snob. I just didn't want to do it. Then, the other day I was trying to come up with a class. I realized, holy cow, I would have to buy paper, stamps, glue, embellishment and the list was getting longer and longer. This also meant the price of the class was getting bigger and bigger $$. What is a new demonstrator to do?  I was starting to stress, and then I saw it.👀 The "Oh Happy Day" all inclusive kit .
