Bird Banter Stamp Set
I almost forgot to blog today!! It has been insane as far as weather goes, and with the bad weather comes the parents' dreaded snow days from school. I love my kid, but dang I'm in need of school to start up again. You don't realize how much a 5 year old can talk until they are stuck inside for 4 days with no way to get all that energy out. I have found it comes out verbally. I probably answer a thousand questions in an hour. ANYWAY.... speaking of talking...
Here is Bird Banter
This stamp set is in the Occasions Catalog! It has some great parrot images that are sure to crack a smile on the recipient's face. It doesn't have any dies to cut images. All the images you see in the following samples were cut out by me.😝

This is a card sample out of the Occasions catalog (pg 43) that I made.
I used Whisper White cardstock to create the card base and background. I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, colored with Stampin' Blends Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and Pool Blue.
The card sentiments are a couple of birthdays, thank you, and friendship. These little birds are so cute
with smaller images to dress them up. Like I did with the birthday hat.
This shows the little budgie buddy. The stamp set has 2 budgies that are mirror images. They would make cute Valentine themed cards as well!
On this card I die cut out a circle shape to create a window for the stamped image to show through. I used the flower and leaf stamps to create my own background paper for the front of the card. The "Thanks So Much" sentiment is from A Good Day stamp set. That set is found in the Occasions Catalog on pg 17.
The toucan is probably my favorite image along with the sentiment that matches. I used a sponge to ink up the orange background and used die cut images from another die set called Petals and More. That set is also in the Occasions Catalog. It coordinates with the stamp set Petal Palette on page 23.
The images are large enough to color and modify. There is a lot of room for different styles of cards for almost all occasions. If you enjoy cute and whimsical. I'm pretty sure you will be seeing a lot of these guys in my samples.
I hope you have a safe and warm week. Check out my Facebook page for upcoming events, card inspirations, and just all around paper crafting fun. I would love to see what you have created, so please share your pictures too.
