Heart Happiness

Ah, February, the month of LOOOOVE. We all look forward to the day that overflows with sappy cards, beautiful arrangements, and those amazing little pieces of  deliciousness we know as chocolate. Valentine's  Day is an awesome day to express your ooy gooey feelings for your crush, boyfriend or husband. ❤❤

I'm here to help you do just that. Show that special someone how much you really love them with a  new stamp set called "Heart Happiness". It has a "hearty" dose of photopolymer hearts shaped stamps. The "Heart Happiness" set doesn't include any sentiments, but it coordinates with another stamp set in the Occasions catalog that does. It's called "Sure Do Love You". That set can be found on page 19.

I had a lot of fun with this set! I'm going to be honest, I'm not a fan of the color pink. It's just not me...so a lot of my samples are primarily red, gold, and shade of purple.

This is a sweet little card I made using a couple of hearts. There are a few cameo appearances on this sample. The sentiment "I just love you" is from a new stamp set in the Occasions called Petal Palette. The lacey die cut image is from Petals and More die set that coordinates with the Petal Palette stamp set. The twine you see is glitter twine that is new as well. I love how it added a little glimmer. Surprisingly, I didn't use any Wink of Stella on these cards. I just forgot. I stamped a couple of hearts on the inside of the card as well. To me it adds a little more flare to the card.

This is a very simple card to do.  I folded the whisper white card base length wise so it opens from the bottom. Then, I added Real Red cardstock on top. The whisper white I cut down to 5 1/4" x 4". Then I die cut the smaller hearts out of it. Now, this set is great because not only does it have 1 coordinating set, but 2!! That's right. The set coordinates with the new Lots to Love Box Framelit Dies in the Occasions catalog (page 19) and the Sweet & Sassy Framelits Dies in the annual catalog pg 214. That is a really SWEET deal.

I made the background paper using Stampin' Up ink pads. The cardstock I used was Whisper White. The colors I used are Real Red, Rich Razzleberry, Peekaboo Peach, and Mambo Melon. The gold I used Versa Mark ink and gold heat embossing. I did the versa mark and heat embossing first. Then I swiped the other colors randomly around the paper. Then I wiped it off with a paper towel to get the ink off the gold. Doing that help to smudge the inks a little more.  I have Black as my Card base. This strip down the middle of the black is just a 1/4" strip I cut off the background. This sample was a lot of fun  and I really like the results.

Here is my scrapbook layout using the Heart Happiness and the 12x12 background comes in the Bubbles and Fizz designer series paper that is in the Sale-A-Brations catalog.

Of course, the gifts are the best part of saying I Love You! This box is part of the Lots to Love Box Framelits set. The gift box finishes off at 4 7/8" x 3"x 5/8". It is perfect for a gift card, earring sleeves or a bracelet. I made the heart background paper by repeatedly stamping mini hearts all over white cardstock.

This little gem of a gift box was an inspiration I found on Pinterest. It's called a geoball. It's similar to an origami basket. You can easily fill it with some shredded gift paper and candy. I'm using it for a little surprise for my class. The "From the Heart" sentiment is from the Petal Palette sentiment stamps. The heart is stamped in Rich Razzleberry. The cute little clothespin just makes it!!

Well, there ya go! Some really cute and sappy samples to inspire you to spread the love on Valentines. If you order right now from the Occasions catalog you can get all your project materials in time to make all the special loves in your life a gift. Remember, order $50 and you can get a free product from the Sale-A-Brations catalog. I can't wait to see who make me a box of chocolate!! ๐Ÿ˜˜

Happy Tuesday๐Ÿง๐Ÿง
