Kit Snob!!
I've really gotten into one of the all inclusive kits that is featured in the Annual Catalog. This box is amazing for all that comes in it. Have you considered getting one of these kits? I didn't. Nope. I have been stamping, doing scrapbook pages, and cards since high school, so I thought I didn't need to get cards or pre-punched designs. I mean, come on, I could make that with all the paper, stamps and dies that I already have. I was being a total kit snob. I just didn't want to do it. Then, the other day I was trying to come up with a class. I realized, holy cow, I would have to buy paper, stamps, glue, embellishment and the list was getting longer and longer. This also meant the price of the class was getting bigger and bigger $$. What is a new demonstrator to do? I was starting to stress, and then I saw it.👀 The "Oh Happy Day" all inclusive kit. It had everything (and I do mean everything) plus I would only have to charge my students for the price of the kit. Which is only $35.00. That's it!! I know you're starting to think you have thick cardstock to make your card bases, you have stamps for the designs, and the coordinating dies to cut the images out. You can make it however YOU want it to be, so you don't need any stinking kit. Don't be a kit snob, and check this out.
I ordered the All-Inclusive Card Kit called "Oh Happy Day". This kit has everything you need to make 20 cards!! When I say everything, I do mean everything. It comes with 20 cards broken down into 4 different sizes of 5 cards each (includes matching envelopes). One the card sets is a tri-fold style!
There are different printed die cut images that include banners, flower images and basic shapes.
Included are chip board die cut images, foil die cut images, dry embossed sheets and printed paper doilies.
The list continues with the tools for creating. Like the acrylic block, the Dimensionals, baker's twine, jewel embellishments, the Basic Black Stampin' Spot, the stamp set "Oh Happy Day" (which has 13 stamps!!) and a partridge in a pear tree. Ha ha ha.
As a stamper this kit blew me away. I felt like I got so much for $35.00! I'm going to put my attitude in check with these kits. They are amazing for starter scrapbookers, card makers and my class participants. I would recommend these for the younger crowd that is just getting started in paper crafting. This kit doesn't just give you all the above mentioned materials, the kit also comes with instructions on how to make the cards shown! That's great for those who are not quite ready to create their own designs or would prefer to follow along with a pattern.
I'm telling you, get off your paper crafting high horse and give the All-Inclusive Kits a chance. Even if it's to bulk-up your paper or tool stash. Trust me, You'll thank me for it.
I hope you have a great week! Happy crafting.
